The Nightcaps

The Nightcaps were originally all high school friends who started playing record hops and school dances in 1958 throughout the Dallas area. Their debut single , “Wine, Wine, Wine", became the unofficial theme song of The TJ Class of ‘61.

The Nightcaps, now led by Billy Joe Shine (the current and the original  lead singer), are still a popular attraction at many Dallas clubs. Their music is OUR music—the music of the late 50’s and the early 60’s --- that Ole’Time Rock and Roll.

WE NEED YOUR HELP !!!!!!

…… to finalize the arrangements to bring The Nightcaps to entertain us at our 45th Reunion.

So that we don’t have to increase the cost of our other activities, we are asking for “pledges and donations” from those classmates who can contribute $50-$100, or more, to cover the cost of having The Nightcaps perform a 2-hour show as a part of our Saturday, May 6th evening.

If you can contribute to help cover the cost of the entertainment, please e-mail Jay Ferguson at TxGuy55@aptfinders.net , or call Jay’s office at 972-307-7357 or 800-259-7717 (for you out-of-towners) so that he can finalize the arrangements with the group and secure them for our Saturday, May 6th entertainment.

OK Folks, let's all pitch in our nickels and dimes and finish the song.
